Sandra Mae Falgout Mayon

NEW IBERIA — Memorial funeral services will be celebrated for Sandra Mae Falgout Mayon, 61, at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Highland Baptist Church. The Rev. David Denton will officiate.
Sandra was born July 1, 1953, in Morgan City, and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at Louisiana Extended Care Hospital of Lafayette, with her family at her side.
Sandra was a devoted mother, Ma Mere (grandmother), daughter, and sister who lived her life for her family. Her love and devotion to them was undying and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughters, Sarah Mayon Nicholson (Blake), Maegan Mayon (Kyle Meche), and Rhiannon Mayon LeBlanc (Brad); four grandchildren, Briekyn Meche, Makasyn LeBlanc, Saegyn LeBlanc and Laiken Nicholson; her mother, Wilda Liner Moreau (Jim Rupp); her brother and sisters, Gary Falgout (Melinda), Mada Breaux (Mike) and Jodi Barras (Mark); and nieces and nephews, Matt and Kaley Falgout, Jason and Dustin Breaux, Yogi and Brooks Barras and Emily Thibeaux.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Moreau; brother, Earl J. “Bengy” Falgout; her grandchildren, Evan, Kaden and Finley Nicholson; and her maternal grandparents, Arthur and Liza Liner.
