Shirley Wiggins Gamble

Shirley Wiggins Gamble, 79, a native of Hammond and resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Thibodaux Regional Hospital with her three children by her side.
Shirley was the secretary of Bayou Vista Elementary for over 15 years, and a faithful member of Bayou Vista Baptist Church. She was a long time member of the Bayou Vista Garden Club and the Birthday Lunch Club.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at Forest Glade Cemetery in Mexia, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Jimmie Lee Gamble; her parents; five sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by one son, James L. Gamble, of Bayou Vista; two daughters, Myra Gamble Holstein, married to Dugan Holstein, of Denham Springs, and Lisa Gamble Brock, married to Brandon Brock, of Dallas; and five grandchildren, Bailey Holstein, Carter Holstein, Austin Holstein, Katie Brock and Riley Brock.
