STEVEN EDWARDS

Steven Edwards, 71, a resident of Jeanerette, and native of Franklin, passed away on Friday, Sept. 2, 2016 at 8 pm at his residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Jones Funeral Home, 1101 Main St. in Franklin from 8a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Reverend Arnold Ray Joseph will officiate the services.
Memories of Steven will forever remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Maxcine Harris Edwards of Jeanerette; one son, Steven Edwards Jr. of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Angela Edwards of Houston, Texas and Lakeshia Harris of New Iberia; one brother, Wilfred Edwards Sr. and his wife Delories of Jeanerette; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother, step-mom, two brothers, his mother-in-law, a brother-in-law, and a sister-in-law.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
