SUSANA LOPEZ RAMIREZ TORRES

August 13, 1936-February 23, 2017
Susana Lopez Ramirez Torres, 80, a resident of Patterson, passed away in her home on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, surrounded by her adoring family.
She was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Tuff, Texas, the daughter of Lacao “Leo” Ramirez and Ramona Lopez Ramirez.
Susana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Roberto Torres Sr.; three sons, Robert Torres Jr. of Jonesville, Ruben Torres and wife Lilly of Bayou Vista, and Johnny Torres and wife Stephanie of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Paula Free and husband Gene of Patterson, Josie Torres of Berwick, and Penny Daugherty and husband James of Bayou L’Ourse; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Susana was preceded in death by her parents, Lacao “Leo” Ramirez and Ramona Lopez; brother, Lacao “Leo” Ramirez Jr.; and two grandchildren, Brandy Free and Braden Chaisson.
Visitation was held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Funeral Service officiated by Father William (Fr. Bill) Rogalla was at 11 a.m. Susana was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the Funeral Service.
