SYLVIA ORASON BUCK

Sylvia Orason Buck passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at the age of 87.
Beloved and loving wife of 60 years to Frank M. Buck Sr. Mother of Leonard E. Wiggins Jr., Lonnie J. Wiggins, Barry M. Wiggins, Ethel Buck Cantu, Elizabeth Buck Waguespack, Frank M. Buck Jr. and the late Darryl I. Buck. Grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 6. Sister of Ida Marques, Una Peck and the late J.D. Orason, Roy Orason and Jerry Orason. Sylvia is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
She was born in Brownsville, Texas, was a longtime resident of Patterson, Louisiana, and recently a resident of Marrero, Louisiana.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
