Graveside services for Tana Frederick, 49, will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 2 p.m., in the Franklin Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home of Pineville, LA. Fr. Benoit will officiate the services.
Tana passed away at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria on September 17, 2014. She was a native of Franklin and resident of Georgetown, La. She was a homemaker and enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and running the back roads.
She is survived by two sons, Theo T.C. Frederick and Terry T.J. Grice; her loving companion of 22 years, Terry Grice, all of Georgetown, La.; two stepchildren, James and Jamie of Alexandria; Michelle and Brandon Douget of Mamou, LA; mother, Wilray C. Frederick of Franklin; brother, Chad and Fran Frederick of Baldwin; sisters, Theretta and Greg Billiot of Abbeville; Thais Frederick of Franklin; nieces, Krissi and Corey Grice; Kandis and Kaitlyn Truelove; nephews, Chase Grice, Brandon and Devon Truelove and Rohm Morales; 10 aunts and two uncles; and her beloved pet, Tinker Bell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Frederick; grandparents, Theo and Lorena Cole and Didier and Viola Frederick; an aunt and four uncles.
Very special thanks to her caregivers, Krissi, for the strong bond and love she had for her “Nanny,” Theretta, Torre Tugwell for the love and the countless out of town trips to doctors and hospital appointments; Brother Bob Johnson; the entire Grice Family for all the prayers and love for Tana and her family; Rush Funeral Home of Pineville; the staff and doctors in ICU at Rapides Regional Medical Center; Ibert’s Mortuary and Daniel Granite.
