TESSIE ROCK DILSAVER

Tessie Rock Dilsaver, 87, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at her home.
Tessie was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Morgan City, the daughter of Jesse Rock Sr. and Fadra Ogeron Rock.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Mary Wolfe and husband Jim of Bryan, Texas, and Edie Skiles and husband Jimmy of Berwick; five grandchildren, Brett Skiles, Patrick Skiles and wife Emily, Mary Kathryn Hebert and husband Jamie, Andrew Wolfe and wife Amanda, and Michael Wolfe; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Letty Boudreaux of Mandeville.
Tessie was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Rock Sr. and Fadra Ogeron Rock; her husband, Ed Dilsaver; one sister, Myrna Flint; and one brother, Jesse Rock Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Locascio officiating. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Following the service, Tessie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church Women’s Ministry.
