Velma Mae Wilkerson

Velma Mae Wilkerson, 72, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at the Patterson Health Care Center.
Visitation will be Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Morgan City from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Anita W. Richardson of Patterson and Stephanie Riley of Houston; one sister, Debra Nixon of Lake Charles; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Jeanerette-Houma is in charge of arrangements.
