WARDELL LOCKETTE

Wardell Fendelle “War D” Lockette, 34, a resident of Franklin, La. (St. Joseph Community) and a native of New Iberia, La. passed away on Saturday Dec. 17, 2016 at his residence.
Visitation will be observed on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 at the First Church of God in Christ in Jeanerette, La., from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow funeral services in the Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette. Superintendent James W. Proctor will officiate the services.
Memories of Wardell will forever remain in the hearts of his parents, Warren Archield and Shirley L. Archield; one son, Wardell F. Lockette, Jr.; all of Franklin; three brothers, Warren Lockette, Warren Ayro and Shawn Ayro all of Jeanerette, La.; three sisters, Shantelle Eugene, Lisa Manuel and Odelle of Jeanerette; children he helped to raise, Drashon August of Baldwin, La. Lazin McDaniel Jr., Lenzy McDaniel and Lazon McDaniel all of Franklin; 15 nieces and nephews; special friends, and a host aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Wardell was preceded in death by his grandparents.
