WAVERNELL BELLIZANA BELCHER

Wavernell Bellizana Belcher, 66, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at 1:26 p.m. at Terrebonne General Medical Center,
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time at 12 p.m., on Saturday, March 21, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 4928 North Bayou Black Drive in Gibson, with the Rev. James Allen Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Frank Belcher of Houma; three daughters, Mrs. Fabian (Dana) McBride of Houma; Delvikeo Picou; and Mrs. Darryl (Brandy) Rideaux, both of Patterson; two stepdaughters, Lynne and Lia Belcher of Houma; six sisters, Eula B. Allen (James); Joan B. Clark (Frederick); Wilma B. Hawkins, Brenda B. Aubert, Carolyn B. McGill (Jerry), Janet B. Ruffin; and Carmen Bolden, all of Houma; one brother, Charles Bellizana of Patterson; two godchildren; a sister-in-law; five brothers-in-law; three grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two sisters and two brothers-in-law.
