Those who love to fish or newcomers to the sport can do so for free the first weekend in June.
The 9th Annual Eagle Expo is being held through Saturday with events taking place in the Tri-City area. The coastal region and close proximity to the Atchafalaya Basin has made Morgan City the epicenter of the bald eagles recovery.
Though the event hails itself as the Eagle Expo, the ninth annual celebration this weekend (through Saturday) is really about birds in general.
