Parish council meets for last 2012 session

A brief agenda awaits the St. Mary Parish Council when it meets in the final session of 2012 Wednesday.

On the agenda are proposed ordinances amending the zoning map and the 2012 budget.

Resolutions slated include a change order on Duhon Boulevard roadway and crossover project in Amelia and a contract to Mosquito Surveillance & Control Consulting LLC for program monitoring.

A public hearing on the proposed ordinances will be called at 5:45 p.m. followed by the regular meeting at 6 p.m. on the fifth floor of the parish courthouse on Main Street in Franklin.
