Red Ribbon Week visitor at Holy Cross Elementary

Morgan City Police Department officer Janada Price visited with sixth-grade students of Holy Cross Elementary in Morgan City Oct. 24. The visit was part of the continuing education for Red Ribbon/Drug Free Awareness week throughout St. Mary Parish. Students learned how to keep “cool” in stressful situations and avoid peer pressure. Thursday was the fifth day of Red Ribbon/Drug Free Awareness week throughout St. Mary Parish Schools as well as “Dare to resist Drugs and Violence DARE” day.
