University of Louisiana at Lafayette men’s basketball standout Shawn Long became the Sun Belt Conference’s all-time leading rebounder after recording 15 boards in Louisiana’s 71-69 loss to Arkansas State Saturday. The Morgan City High alum has grabbed 1,196 rebounds in his career, passing former
South Alabama standout Augustine Rubit’s mark of 1,181. Earlier this season, Long became the Ragin’ Cajuns all-time leading rebounder. With his 25 points Saturday, Long also passed Rubit (ninth all-time in Sun Belt history) and moved into eighth place on the Sun Belt Conference’s all-time scoring list with
