Area basketball games rescheduled

Two Tri-City area basketball games postponed due to the effects of the cold weather have been rescheduled.
Morgan City’s District 7-4A girls’ and boys’ contests against Vandebilt Catholic, scheduled for today in Morgan City, have been rescheduled for Thursday. Girls will play at 5:30 p.m. and boys will follow.
Also, the annual Patterson-Central Catholic boys’ basketball game, scheduled for Thursday, has been moved to Feb. 17. The game will be played at Central Catholic.
The move was necessary after Central Catholic and Patterson had to reschedule district contests for Thursday against Gueydan and E.D. White, respectively.
