Berwick, Patterson combine for five first-team all-district selections

Berwick and Patterson High schools combined for five first-team All-District 8-3A baseball selections.
Berwick’s top choices included pitcher Bradley Gray, first baseman D.J. Robichaux and outfielder Cameron Wiley.
Patterson’s first-team picks were utility selections, Bryce Beaubouef and Jamey Fabre.
Second-team selections from Berwick were pitcher Nick Mayon, second baseman Cody Roberie and third baseman Brandon Fryou.
Patterson’s second-team selections were shortstop Brennan Gouaux, outfielder Joel Singleton and utility selection Tyrik Singleton.
Berwick’s honorable mention picks were: Tanner Caldwell, Andrew Askew, Ty Duthu, Kyle Pitre, Austin Price and Logan Angeron.
Patterson’s honorable mention selections were: Blake Dreyer and Brad Beaubouef.
