Berwick's golf team competes in district tourney

Berwick High School’s golf team competed in the district tournament at Lakewood Country Club in New Orleans on April 20. Team members Cooper Roussel, Noah Castille, Joshua Fabre, Mateo Landry and Kaleb Mayon arrived a day early to take in a practice round. Roussel was the low scorer for the team with an 86. He missed qualifying for regions by one stroke. The young team of two freshmen and three sophomores was able to gain experience to compete at the next level.
