CCHS Eagle football team receives awards

Central Catholic High School recognized its football team during an awards ceremony Monday.
In addition to letterman and senior awards, Academic and Athletic All-District 7-1A selections were recognized as well as Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 1A All-State picks, an Academic All-State Composite winner and the KWBJ/Advance Physical Therapy Players of the Week.
Below are a list of the award winners:
—Academic All-District: Tyler O’Con, Dede Gant, Cooper LeBlanc, Taylor Blanchard, Grant Stansbury, John Charles Hebert, Cade Minton, Ryan Miller, John Rentrop, Sammy Spitale, Andrew Duval, Tyler Longman, Nathan Hebb, Michael-Anthony Hill, Grant Cheramie, Collin Kovac, Hunter Rulf, Blake Hidalgo, Jesse Fontenot, Bailey Badeaux, Drake Angeron, Blake Byrne, Ja’len Johnson and Korey Kincaid.
