Central Catholic and Berwick qualified for the state volleyball playoffs in their respective classes when brackets were released Monday. Central Catholic (18-21) is seeded No. 14 in Division V and will host No. 19 Ascension Christian (9-14) Thursday at 6 p.m. Berwick (14-18) is seeded No. 15 in Division III and will host No. 18 Lusher Charter (12-14) Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Patterson, in Division IV, and Morgan City, in Division III, just missed the playoff cuts in their respective divisions as each were ranked No. 25 in the final power rankings.
