LCA routs CCHS, 84-50

The Berwick High School Panthers defeated Centerville, 58-44, Thursday, at North Vermilion’s tournament.
While Berwick trailed 11-7 after a quarter, the Panthers outscored Centerville in the remaining three quarters, taking a 28-19 lead at halftime and a 42-32 lead heading into the fourth period.
Travis White head led three Panthers in double figures with 18 points. Josh Carver, 12; Larenz Clark, 11; Donald Tillman, eight; Tysin Meads, five; and Dayton Clark and Cody Roberie, two points apiece.
Berwick (11-8) will return to action Tuesday when it opens District 8-3A action at home against Franklin. The game is set for a 6 p.m. start.
CCHS falls to
Archbishop Shaw
Central Catholic fell in its finale at E.D. White’s tournament to Archbishop Shaw, 61-60.
No individual statistics were submitted.
Central Catholic will return to action Tuesday when it begins District 7-1A play at home against Lafayette Christian Academy.
