Lumberjack golf team heads to regional tournament

The Patterson High Lumberjack golf team qualified for regionals with a fourth place finish in the Division 3, District 4 golf tournament at Lakewood Golf Course in New Orleans. The team shot a combined score of 336. Cade Thibodaux led the ’Jacks, shooting the tournament’s third-best individual score, a four over par 76. Bryce Beaubouef finished tied for seventh, shooting a 79. Kenny Singleton shot an 88, Trey Olwell, a 93, and Joel Singleton, a 94. Patterson will return to action Tuesday when it hits the links at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild in the Division III, Region II tournament that will be held Tuesday.
