MCHS' Ethan Scioneaux earns Class 4A All-State honorable mention status

A Morgan City High School baseball player earned all-state recognition on the Class 4A team as an honorable mention selection.
Sophomore pitcher Ethan Scioneaux earned honorable mention status on the team. Scioneaux finished the 2015 season with a 7-3 mark on the mound. In 74 innings, he allowed 22 walks, fanned 53 and had an ERA of 2.39.
“Ethan’s one of the hardest working kids in the school. Every time he stepped foot on the mound, he gave us a chance to win.”
Daigle said it didn’t matter the adversity Scioneaux faced, he would get the job done.
“Just a good, hard-working kid,” Daigle said.
Several other District 7-4A players made the team as honorable mention selections. Those include Assumption’s Tyler Landry and Aidan Sanders, Vandebilt Catholic’s Matt Ledet, David Yancey and Kye Matherne; and South Terrebonne’s Tyler Crochet and Drey Dupre.
