Morgan City places three on All-District 7-4A first team

The Morgan City Tigers had three representatives on the All-District 7-4A first-team.
Pitcher Ethan Scioneaux, second baseman Abram Hartley and outfielder Matt Lorenzo made the top squad.
The Tigers had four second-team selections: pitcher, Rhett Fryou; first baseman, Brady Fryou; shortstop, Philip Hutchinson; and outfielder, Alex Brocato.
Honorable mention selections for Morgan City were Evan Stadalis and Morrquise Charles.
Morgan City (11-15) finished its season with a 6-6 district mark.
Vandebilt Catholic swept the individual honors as Kye Matherne was District 7-4A Most Valuable Player and Corey Sullivan was named Coach of the Year.
