Patterson and Berwick players net postseason honors

Patterson placed five members on the All-District 8-3A first team, while Berwick had four on the top team.
Patterson’s first-team selections on offense were wide receiver Jordan Butler, offensive lineman Brad Beaubouef, athlete Dajon Richard and place kicker Christian Sorio. Patterson lineman Dondre Diggs was a first-team selection along the defensive front.
Berwick’s first-team selections on offense included wide receivers Josh Carver and Kenan Jones and quarterback Mitchell Sanford. On defense, the Panthers were represented on the top team by defensive back D.J. Robicheaux.
Erath running back Elijah Mitchell was the district’s Offensive Most Valuable Player, while Kaplan linebacker Julius Johnson was the Defensive Most Valuable Player. Kaplan’s Tank Lotief was named Coach of the Year.
Patterson’s second-team offensive selections were wide receiver Khyri Harris, offensive lineman Aarion Hartman, quarterback Hector Tolento and running back Dontre Nicholas.
Berwick’s second-team offensive selections were wide receiver Toby Everage and kick returner/punt returner Larenz Clark.
Patterson’s second-team defensive selections were linebacker Tyric Garrett and defensive back Irvin Celestine.
Berwick’s second-team defensive selections were defensive lineman Austin Vercher and Matt Legendre and Clark at defensive back.
Patterson had four players earn honorable mention status: Zachary Burke, Kaylon Bruno, Darionte Brown and Treylon Bennett.
Berwick had five honorable mention selections: Collin Louviere, Barret Hover, Orry Arcemont, Cameron Wiley and Cody Roberie.
