High team was Frank’s Agency with high scratch and handicap game of 707 and 863 and high scratch series of 2006 and DSF Wild Ones with high handicap series of 2456.
High scratch bowlers were Angela Fields 616 (201, 182, 233), Pam Hensgens 551 (202, 178), Cathy Daigle 532 (207), Rosie Fournier 514 (183), Beverly Mayon 489 (176, 189), Sheila Lewis 475 (175), Dolores Lajaunie (193) and Myrna Vinning (182).
Split conversions were accomplished by Myrna Vinning 5-7, 3-10 and Kakie Bourdier 4-5-7.
The league will have a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shoney’s to distribute awards and approve the summer session rules, which begins June 3 with two members per team. Women bowlers interested can call Myrna Vinning, secretary, at 985-395-3537.
PETROLEUM LEAGUE
May 21
Second-round winner Synergy Resources faced the Thibodaux-based first-round winner Johnny’s Wreckers in the championship match.
In the first game, Synergy pulled out a last frame win by 47 pins.
In the second game, Johnny’s won in the final frame by 58 pins, leading by 11 pins going into the final game.
During the final game, Synergy outscored their opponents in the last two frames, winning the final game by 44 pins to claim the League Championship by a mere 33 pins.
The final game victory for Synergy was led by Travis Frederick with a 264 game.
Congratulations to both teams for a successful League and a very competitive and close final match.

The Petroleum Summer league starts Wednesday.
