High teams were Dolls With Balls with high scratch and handicap game of 415 and 473 and high scratch series of 1058 and The Pin Ups with high handicap series of 1306.
High scratch bowlers were Kristi Wright 562 (187, 221), Rosie Fournier 525 (195, 183), Tamara Aucoin 496 (194, 180), Gretchen Corbin 489, Angela Fields 475 (184), Krystal Houghton 483 and Maria Russo (184).
Split conversions were accomplished by Kristi Wright 3-10 and Maria Russo 4-5-7.
PETROLEUM LEAGUE
June 10
“That’s How We Roll” won league championship.
Second-round winner “That’s How We Roll” faced DBI, winner of the first and third rounds.
In a close first game, Synergy pulled out a last frame win by 47 pins.
In the second game, Johnny’s returned the favor by claiming the second game in the final frame by 58 pins, leading by 11 pins going into the final game.
“That’s How We Roll” started fast and took a commanding 208-pin lead going into the third game. DBI came to life in the third game, led by Brett Keton’s 290 game, and brought the game down to the last frame, only to come up 13 pins short in their comeback attempt.
Congratulations to both teams for a successful league and a very competitive and close final match.
Congratulations to “That’s How We Roll” members Anthony Falgout Jr., Robert Hebert, Jason Pye, Shawn Carpenter, Mark Kleimann, Dale Pearce and Daryl Boudreaux.
Members of DBI included Ken Keton Sr., Kenny Keton Jr., Brett Keton, Benji Sons, Patrick Thibodeaux, Ryan Veillon and Sidney Hebert.
The Petroleum Summer League will have a meeting Wednesday at Charlie’s Lanes at 6:30 p.m.
