Candy Fleet edged A.J. Dohmann 9-8 in youth baseball action at Spinella Park in Morgan City Tuesday.
Jade Oliney and Brandon Cordero finished 3-for-3 to lead Candy Fleet, while Anthony Bourgeois was 2-for-3 with a home run.
Other hitters for Candy Fleet were Javien Colbert and Jamyre Bias, each 2-for-3.
William Crooks finished 2-for-2 for A.J. Dohmann, while JaKavior Kemp was 2-for-3 with a home run.
Other hitters for A.J. Dohmann were Cash Baker, Thomas Mancuso, Luke Nini and Landon Ramagos, all 2-for-3.
In a second game Tuesday, Scully’s defeated Grizzaffi’s, 10-1.
Joseph Breaux led Scully’s with a 4-for-4 performance.
Other hitters included Roderick Bennett, Ethan Michel and Sam Nadir, all 3-for-3; Franko Saleme, 3-for-4; and Kyle Stansbury, Kollin Nelson, Gary Bourgeois and Austin Cornes, all 2-for-3.
Carter Whipple and Noah Davis led Grizzaffi’s as each finished 2-for-2.
Other hitters for Grizzaffi’s included Chaz Pickens, Kyron Dugas, Ra’Shon Watkins and Tyler Hill, all 1-for-2.
