GCW shows set for Aug. 12-13

Gulf Coast Wrestling will hold “Back 2 Back to School Bash” Aug. 12 in New Iberia and Aug. 13 at the Amelia Recreation Center.
The events will feature three title matches. Wild Thing will defend the U.S. title, Gil the Thrill will defend the GCW heavyweight title and locals, Mustang Mike and Psycho Mike will defend the GCW tag team titles. Others to be featured are Stoneman and World Wide Superstar Andrew Anderson.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Ringside tickets are sold out for the Amelia event but can be purchased for the New Iberia show for $15. Tickets can be purchased by calling 985-518-0433.
Bell time in New Iberia is set for 7:30 p.m., while bell time in Amelia will be at 7 p.m. Concession proceeds from the New Iberia event will be donated to the Iberia Parish sports league, while the concession proceeds from Saturday’s show will go to the Amelia Recreation Athletic Department.
