Junior tennis league starts Monday

The Morgan City Recreation Department, under the direction of Strictly Tennis, will hold Quick Start Junior Tennis League and Little Tennis beginning Monday and continuing for five weeks.
Quick Start Junior Tennis Lessons, for ages 7-12, will be held Monday-Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Players should attend two of three classes per week. Session 1 begins Monday and runs five weeks. Session 2 starts Oct. 17 and also last five weeks.
The cost to attend is $90 per session. This program uses smaller racquets, foam and low compression balls, and smaller court sizes to get younger kids playing matches as early as possible.
Little Tennis will be held Monday-Wednesday from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. The class is open to ages 3.5 to 6. Players should attend two of three classes per week. The cost is $80 per session.
