M C Bank defeats Candy Fleet in youth softball action

M C Bank defeated Candy Fleet, 9-5, in Division I softball action May 25 at Cypress Park in Morgan City.
Caidynce Hebert led M C Bank with a 3-for-3 performance. Other top offensive contributors included Kennedy Champagne and Ava Ho, each 2-for-2; and Ava Allen, 2-for-3.
Gabrielle Grizzaffi led Candy Fleet with a 3-for-3 performance, while Bree Mitchell was 2-for-2 with two doubles. Other top offensive contributors included Kathryn Miller, 2-for-2, a double; and Kallie Rabalais, 2-for-3.
Snicker’s 13, Red Hots 6
DeIryiah Green had three hits and Snicker’s defeated Red Hots, 13-6, in Division II softball action May 25 at Cypress Park in Morgan City.
Green finished 3-for-3, while Zakari Valentine was 2-for-2 with a double. Other top offensive contributors included Natalie Sloane and Kailanni Francis, each 1-for-1.
Peyton Henry led Red Hots with a 2-for-2 performance. Other top offensive contributors included Miley Bruni, 1-for-1; and Oliviah Mensman, 1-for-2.
Crushers, 6, Snickers 5
Lily Eues collected three hits, including a double; and the Crushers defeated the Snickers, 6-5, in Division II softball action May 24 at Complex Park in Morgan City.
Eues finished 3-for-3 with a double, while Emily Terrebonne was 2-for-2. Other top offensive contributors included Grace Marcel and Anne Marie Campbell, each 1-for-1; and Ryan Caldwell, 1-for-2.
DeIryah Green led Snickers with a 2-for-2 performance with two doubles. Other top offensive contributors included Alayah Hayles, 1-for-1, a double; Ireyell Dugas, 1-for-1; and Emily Metrejean, 1-for-2.
Gator Girls 14, Sweet Tarts 3
Savannah Hunt had two hits, including a home run, and the Gator Girls routed the Sweet Tarts, 14-3, in Division II softball action at Cypress Park May 24.
Savannah Hunt led Gator Girls with a 2-for-2 performance. Other top offensive contributors included Kaydence Topham and Maddie Myers, each 1-for-2; and Faith DeRouen and Winnie Mabile, each 1-for-3.
Hailey Denning, Hannah Ebbecke and Katelyn Breaux all walked in the loss.
