NWA's Cajun Heat coming to Morgan City Saturday

NWA Mid South Wrestling, a regional pro wrestling company, will invade Morgan City Saturday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium for an 8 p.m. show.
In addition to an action-packed line up of matches, the event will feature a guest appearance by WWE Hall of Famer “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash.
Nash will be available to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. The 7-foot former WWE Champion is also known for his appearances in “Magic Mike” and “The Longest Yard.”
A double steel cage main event will headline the card as NWA National Champion Greg Anthony defends against Americos and NWA Mid South Unified Champion Jeremy Moore defends against Loverboy Matt Riviera. Riviera will be accompanied by Pretty Tony & Killer Shane.
Morgan City’s own Mustang Mike, a 22-year wrestling veteran, will challenge NWA Worlds’ Champion Jax Dane for the championship.
“I am thankful for this opportunity to compete for the NWA Worlds’ Title in my home town of Morgan City, and on July 2nd, I promise to all my friends, fans and family that with their support, I’ll do everything in my means to win,” Mustang Mike said in a recent interview with nwamidsouth.com.
Other matches will include Psycho Mike taking on Stan Sweetan in a grudge match, NWA North American Champion Tim Storm defending his title against Apoc and John Saxon in a triple threat match and Iron Man Rob Conway taking on Rodney Mack.
This is an all-ages event, and wrestlers will be available for autographs.
Concessions also will be sold.
Tickets are $20 for ringside and $12 for balcony seating. VIP tables (with seating for eight) also are available for $300. VIP front row seats are sold out.

While bell time is set for 8 p.m., a VIP meet and greet will be held at 6 p.m., followed by a general admission meet and greet at 6:30 p.m.
