Patterson 10U All-Stars begin southwest regional action today

The Patterson Babe Ruth 10U Softball All-Stars will begin play today in the Babe Ruth Southwest Regional Tournament in Magnolia, Arkansas.
Patterson will play two exhibition pool games today before double-elimination bracket play begins Wednesday.
Today, Patterson faced a team from Hamburg, Arkansas, at noon and Littlefield, Texas, at 1:30 p.m. in back-to-back games.
Patterson will begin bracket play Wednesday against Magnolia, Arkansas, in a 9 a.m. contest.
The tournament features state champions and runners-up from Arkansas and Louisiana, while the state champions from Texas and Oklahoma also are participating.
Patterson advanced to the southwest regional tournament as the state runner-up to St. Charles at the 10U state tournament.
The tournament is scheduled to run through Saturday.
