The Patterson 10U Babe Ruth softball All-Stars were recognized with a parade through Patterson Tuesday and a ceremony before the City Council meeting. The team will be participating in the Babe Ruth 10U World Series in Jensen Beach Florida. Opening Ceremonies will be held Friday, pool play will be held Saturday and Sunday and bracket play commences Monday. Patterson is the state and southwest regional champions. In the third photo, Patterson Mayor Rodney Grogan shows one of the decorative rocks that were given to the team to leave at stops along the way to Florida to spread the recent local trend of leaving rocks at different locations with inspirational messages.
