Pickleball krew offers thanks

The Krewe of Pickleball would like to express sincere appreciation and thanks to the Town of Berwick and community of Bayou Vista for the use of their civic centers by accommodating the First Fun Pickleball Tournament, Saturday, February 28, 2015. The staffs of both facilities were eager to provide help in any way that supported this activity. People from Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Zachary, etc., who participate regularly in tournaments, were extremely complimentary of our local facilities because of their accessibility, convenience, and appearance.
The generosity of Anytime Fitness, Bayou Vista Community Fellowship, Corporate Outfitters, Divine Donuts and G & J Land and Marine Food Distributors contributed to the success of this tournament by donating drinks, food, and other items, as well.
Also, our Pickleball group would like to thank The Daily Review, especially, the sports department, for being extremely accommodating and efficient by giving this activity outstanding publicity.
The Krewe of Pickleball is truly grateful for having the support of our local communities that encourage and promote fun and enjoyment through physical fitness!
