Skipper's wins 11-8

Skipper’s Sporting Goods defeated M C Paint & Body, 11-8, in youth baseball action Monday at Complex Park in Morgan City.
Dylan Duval led M C Paint & Body with a 2-for-2 performance with two runs, while Tylon Hollins was 1-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and a run.
Other top contributors included Jobe Stratton, 1-for-3, two RBIs and a run; and Tate Aucoin, 1-for-2, an RBI and a run.
In the loss, Drew Miller led M C Paint & Body with a 2-for-3 performance with a triple, an RBI and two runs, while TyJon Folse was 2-for-2 with a double and two runs. Demondrick Blackburn added a 1-for-3 performance with an RBI and a run.
Also Monday, Gator Rigging defeated Intercoastal Redi-Mix 15-11.
Carson Meador finished 2-for-2 with five RBIs and three runs to lead Gator Riggings, while Gary Nicar was 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs and two runs. Anibal Quinones added a 1-for-2 performance with a double, two RBIs and a run.
Howard Kinchen led Intercoastal Redi Mix with a 1-for-2 performance with a double, an RBI and a run, while James Richardson was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs. Other top hitters included Landon Gagliano, 1-for-1 with three runs; and Payton Pickens, 1-for-2, two runs.
At Cypress Park Monday, Dragna Bros. defeated Johnny’s Propeller Shop, 7-1.
Trent Hillen had a triple for Dragna Brothers, while Aiden Ashley had two singles and Dakota Gibson, a single.
For Johnny’s Propeller Shop, Dylan Cornes had a double and TrayVonne Baptiste, a single.
