Spring sports sign-ups

Registration is being taken for St. Mary Parish Dixie Boys and St. Mary East Dixie Majors.
While Dixie Boys is open to ages 13-15, Dixie Majors has been expanded to 19U. It will include ages 16-19.
Those interested in signing up for either should visit the Bayou Vista Community Center and bring a copy of the participant's birth certificate. Registration is $40 for ages 13-15 and $45 for ages 16-17. Registration hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Registration forms for each age group also are available at Pat’s Paint and Body Shop, 1117A Siracusa Road in Morgan City.
While the St. Mary Parish Dixie Boys team is open to anyone in St. Mary Parish, the St. Mary Parish East team is open to those from Patterson to Amelia.

Sign-ups
The Amelia Recreation Center is offering T-ball and baseball sign-ups through today.
T-ball sign-ups are for ages 4-6, while baseball sign-ups are for ages 7-15.

BBVS sign-ups ongoing
Berwick-Bayou Vista Softball League is accepting registration for its 2016 softball season on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Thursday.
Sign-ups will be held on both days from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Berwick Civic Complex.
They also can be dropped off at Berwick Town Hall.

The Morgan City Recreation Department is accepting registration for its 2016 T-Ball, baseball and softball season through Monday.
To apply, visit the Morgan City Recreation Department at 915 Everett St. in Morgan City. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The office is closed daily for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
