Class A Men — first place, Tim Gilmore of Bayou Vista and Eddie Jolly of Monroe, 5-1, 38.3 ringer percentage; second place, Ricky Richard, Church Point, and Alois Habetz, Sulphur, 4-2, 41.7; and third place, Dudley Michel, Bayou Vista, and Al Dodson, Morgan City, 3-2, 39.7.
Gilmore/Jolly defeated Richard/Habetz in a 60-shoe playoff game to claim Men’s Class A and Tournament Champions.
Class B Men — first, Mike Ricardo and Tommy Zmek, both of Shreveport, 5-1, 26.1; second, Randy Giroir and Ryan Fryou, both of Berwick, 4-2, 26.3; and third, Darrel Dennis and Bill King, both of West Monroe, 3-2, 19.0.
Zmek/Ricardo defeated Giroir/Fryou in a 60-shoe shootout to be named Class B Champions.
Class C Men — first, J.P. Morse and Steve Rotach, both of Shreveport, 5½-½, 16.7; second, Glenn Miller, Belle River, and Chris Rogers, Morgan City, 4½-1½, 15.3; and third, Burnie Williams, Morgan City, and Julius Lovell, Bayou L’Ourse, 3-2, 17.9.
Morse/Rotach defeated Miller/Rogers in a 60-shoe playoff game to claim the championship.
Class D Men — first, Bob Kraus and Darron Adams, both of Shreveport, 5-1, 9.3; second, Randy Blackmon, Shreveport, and Hilton Rhodes, Bayou Vista, 4-2, 5.7; and third, Jerry Dupont and Mark Richmond, both of Shreveport, 2½-2½, 6.3.
Kraus/Adams defeated Blackmon/Rhodes in a 60-shoe playoff game to claim the championship.
Class A Women — first, Pat Pertuit, Marrero, and Sharla Fontenot, Lacassine, 6½-1½, 35.7; second, Angela Percle, Morgan City, and Bobbie Richard, Church Point, 5½-2½, 33.6; and third, Rhonda Smith, Lake Charles, and Mary Begnaud, Lacassine, 4½-2½, 26.7.
Pertuit/Fontenot defeated Percle/Richard in a 60-shoe playoff game, giving them the Class A Women’s title and Tournament Championship.
Class B Women — first, Nancy Woods and Becky Jo Boyle, both of Monroe, 6-1, 23.1; second, Judy Dore’, Patterson, and Jamie Granger, Morgan City, 5-2, 17.2; and second, Vickie Howard and Erica Noblitt, both of Monroe, 5-2, 10.0.
