Tennis lessons offered

The Quick Start Junior Tennis League will hold two five-week sessions this summer.
The first session will begin Monday, while the second session will begin June 30.
The sessions, open to students ages 7-12, include the use of smaller racquets, foam and low compression balls and smaller court sizes to get youngsters playing earlier.
The lessons during each session will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Players should attend two of three sessions per week.
The cost of each session will be $90.
Match play will be included in the classes.
A tournament will be announced.
Additionally, Little Tennis will hold two sessions, the first beginning Monday and the second starting June 30. Lessons will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It is open to ages 3.5 to 6, and the cost is $80 per session.

The programs are offered through the Morgan City Recreation Department under the direction of Strictly Tennis.
