1 booked in connection with $500,000 bar theft

NEW ORLEANS — Police say a maintenance employee at a Bourbon Street bar is a suspect in the theft of more than $500,000 out of the bar’s office.
The suspect was identified as 43-year-old Vincent Randazzo. Police said Wednesday that they obtained a warrant for his arrest on April 3 in connection with the late March theft. They said that he has been booked into the New Orleans jail on theft, drug and weapons charges.
Evidence in the case includes surveillance video from the bar on the 200 block of Bourbon Street.
Police said more arrests are possible in the case.
