Drainage work closes Houma road

HOUMA, La. (AP) — Authorities in Terrebonne Parish say St. Louis Canal Road has been closed between Westview Drive and Westside Boulevard in Houma while construction on drainage improvements is underway.
Officials have no definitive timeline for reopening the road, but say the drainage work should be completed by late April.
