Power line work to affect Lafourche traffic

GOLDEN MEADOW, La. (AP) — Drivers along Louisiana Highway 1 in Lafourche Parish can expect periodic delays as power-provider Entergy Entergy works on improvements to its power line system along the highway.
The work is affecting traffic in the Golden Meadow and Leeville areas between the Leon Theriot Floodgates and the Leeville Bridge.
The project is expected to be completed by July 1, with work scheduled daily, including weekends.
