The Morgan City eighth-grade volleyball team won first place in district with a 10-2 mark. Head coach Allise Jennings awarded Kennedy Hebert, Alashia Williams and Allie Vincent first-team MVP honors, while Alisha Singleton and Abigail Landry were second-team MVPs and Hailey Lewis and Bailee Hoggart were recipients of the Coaches Award.
