Brown and Richard joined in marriage

Timiki Auwilnette Brown and Gregory Todd Richard were united in holy matrimony at Chateau Cocomar in Houston on Saturday, March 22. Pastor Edwin Davis officiated this evening nuptial ceremony.
Timiki is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Brown Jr. of Baldwin and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jack Sr. of Franklin and the late Wilson Brown Sr. and late Annie Mae Green, also of Franklin. She is a 1999 graduate of Franklin Senior High School and two-time graduate of Grambling State University, where she received a bachelor of science and master of science in nursing. She is currently a family nurse practitioner.
Gregory is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Richard of Beaumont, Texas. He is a 1996 graduate of Hamshire-Sannett High School and Prairie View A&M University, where he received a bachelor of science in criminal justice. He currently works for the City of Houston.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory Tara Keely Mikado organza fit and flare bridal gown, pleated elongated bodice with sweetheart neckline, full tulle skirt with organza petals and point d’esprit detail, a chapel train and an ivory cathedral veil with rhinestone trimming. She carried an ivory cad lily and rose bouquet.
Divitra Brown-Monroe, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Timiki’s bridesmaids were Fatisha Brown, sister of the bride; Shannon Richard-Chopp, sister of the groom; Shalawnda Lockett, cousin of the bride; Elischa Brown and Juanmekia Gilbert, both friends of the bride. The bridesmaids wore pistachio green Bill Levkoff chiffon floor-length gowns, with a ruched crisscross bodice and a back sash that came over the shoulder and fell to the floor. Thy carried peach and orange rose bouquets.
Raymond Richard, father of the groom, served as best man. Gregory’s groomsmen were Charles Paul, Jeffrey Paul, Toby Paul, all cousins of the groom; Gregory Dolfin and Brian Grace, both friends of the groom.
Carmyn Brown, niece of the bride, and Mi’Anjel Jack, cousin of the bride, served as junior bridesmaids. Brennan Chopp, niece of the groom, served as flower girl. Ceasear Chopp III, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer. Jacob Cheatham and Joshua Cheatham, both cousins of the bride, served as town criers. Jeremiah Williams and Nehemiah Williams, both cousins of the bride, served as ushers.
The reception immediately followed the wedding ceremony. After their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in Houston.
