James and Smith to exchange vows

Cary and Crystal James of Franklin wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Morgan Cari James to Phillip Michael Smith.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Segura and Mr. and Mrs. Gean James. She is a 2013 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed as an educator with the Lafayette Parish School Board.
The prospective groom is the son of Michael and Mary Jo Smith of New Iberia. He is the grandson of Lily Smith. He is a 2012 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently a law student at Louisiana State University.
The wedding ceremony will take place Friday, June 6 at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin.
