Bob and Connie Radtke of Morgan City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 1. They were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City on Aug. 1, 1964.
The Atchafalaya Bit and Bridle Club celebrated its 50th anniversary April 5 with a rodeo put on by Cajun Rodeo Assocation at the Atchafalaya Bit and Bridle Club’s arena on Youngs Road in Morgan City. Several founding members of the club, founded in 1964, also were honored. From left, are Anthony Resignola, Dr. Charles Guarisco, Johnny Giandelone, Howard Freeman, Julie Fields Delaune (representing her father, the late Mike Fields) and Jim Castalano.
