Kenny Keton Jr. of Morgan City broke the city record for a series with an 839 series during Petroleum League action at Charlie’s Lanes Wednesday. After bowling a 239 in his first game, Keton bowled back-to-back 300 series and had 28 strikes in a row. His performance broke the old series mark of
835 set by Wilfred Guidry in June 2001. The 300-games marked his eighth and ninth sanctioned 300 games at Charlies Lanes. He has bowled other 300 games elsewhere. (Submitted Photo/Courtesy of Jerry Pillaro)
