D.B.I., Duke’s Lounge, A&M Dockside, and M.C. Paint & Body, winners of the four rounds of the 37-week Winter League, went against each other on the final night to determine the Winter League Champion, with the team with the most total pins at the end of the night being declared champion.
After the first two games, A&M Dockside and M.C Paint led the scoring with A&M trailing M.C. Paint & Body by 99 pins. Damon Robison shot a game of 255 to give A&M a 10-pin victory to claim league championship.
M.C Paint & Body was led by Jerry Pillaro’s 685 series.
Congratulations to A & M Dockside team members Wayne Mayon, Brian Mayon, Steve Mayon, Merlin Mayon, Damon Robison, Troy Theriot, Ryan Yager and Scott Pinho.
High average in the league was claimed by Kenny Keton Jr. with a 231 scratch average, including a City Record 839 series and back-to-back 300 games, a first in the bowling center.
