Ceremony for Holiday Inn Express & Suites

The St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Tuesday at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Morgan City. The hotel opened Dec. 12. G.T. Kilpatrick, president of Kilpatrick Investments in Ruston and owner of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Morgan City, cut the ribbon. Also attending the ribbon cutting were Danny Donham, general manager of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Morgan City; Kilpatrick’s wife, Mary Kilpatrick; Claire Givens, director of operations of Kilpatrick Hotels; and St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce President Donna Meyer.
