Frazier is on state hospital association board

Butch Frazier, Teche Regional Medical Center chief executive officer, was named a board of trustee member for the Southwest District of the Louisiana Hospital Association during the association’s annual business meeting on July 21.
Frazier said, “Being chosen as a member of the LHA board of trustees is a huge honor. I look forward to being involved and making a difference in healthcare for the state of Louisiana. I am impressed with the energy and enthusiasm of the LHA board and I am excited about being part of the team.”
Established in 1926, the Louisiana Hospital Association is a non-profit organization representing hospitals and healthcare provider groups across the state. The mission of the LHA is to support its members through advocacy, education and services.
Frazier became Teche Regional Medical Center’s CEO in 2009. In addition to his current position, he served as CEO of Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, and stints as CEO of Jamestown Regional Medical Center in Tennessee; administrator of The Medical Center of Mesquite in Texas; chief operating officer and assistant administrator of Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
Frazier received his bachelor of science degree from Memphis State University and his master of public administration in health care administration from the University of Memphis. He also serves as a member of American College of Healthcare Executives.
