Ribbon-cutting for Steve's Pet Shop

Steve’s Pet Shop at 841 U.S. 90 East in Bayou Vista is now under new ownership. Owners Cynthia and Frank Soto, left of ribbon, cut the ceremonial ribbon Tuesday at the store in the St. Mary Plaza as St. Mary Chamber of Commerce President Donna Meyer, a host of chamber and parish officials, and well-wishers look on. The full-line pet shop offers wing and nail clipping, a variety of pets and pet supplies. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
